My Early American Colonial Knives are representative of the period 1620 - 1880.
I hand forge with a hammer and anvil. I forge with high carbon steels, the ones I mostly use are 1095, 1075/1080, 5160, and files.
All my knife blades are properly heat treated and oil quenched to obtain a nice & hard cutting edge that holds a sharp edge well.
Your future knife will look & feel like original knives used during the Colonial years of our country
and will offer a unique feel of holding history in your hand.
The knife I'm working on in the above picture is the same knife in the below picture.
I make all my knives to have a balance feel in your hand.
When you buy one of my knives, you will be buying a well made knife
